Ring sizing
How do I find my ring size?
The most reliable way is our free ring sizer. Request one with your order — just note it at checkout or message us right after ordering — and we'll mail you an accurate sizer at no charge before we start crafting your ring. A plastic sizer or a jeweler's measurement beats string, paper strips, and printable charts every time.
What if I order the wrong size?
It happens, and there's a fix. In most cases we can stretch a ring up to half a size larger at no charge (you cover the $10 return shipping). Rings can't be sized down because of the titanium, tungsten carbide, and inlays, so if you need a smaller size we'll remake the ring: you return the original band, we craft a new one for 50% of its original cost. We don't resell rings, so the remake fee covers raw materials — it's not a moneymaker for us.
Do you offer half and quarter sizes?
Yes. Titanium rings are available in US sizes 3–16 including half and quarter sizes, and sterling silver rings run sizes 6–16 the same way. Most jewelers stop at half sizes — we go finer because a quarter size can be the difference between a ring that spins and one that fits.
Comfort fit or standard fit?
Our bands are made with a comfort-fit style profile. If you're switching from a standard-fit band you already own, order your usual size — but when in doubt, request the free sizer rather than guessing.
Does ring width change what size I need?
It can. Wider bands (8mm and up) fit more snugly on the same finger, so some customers go up a quarter to half size. If you're between sizes on a wide band, size up, or ask us and we'll help you decide.
Materials & care
Will titanium, tungsten, or damascus steel rings rust or tarnish?
No. Titanium is hypoallergenic and completely worry-free: it won't rust, tarnish, or react with your skin. Tungsten carbide is extremely hard and scratch-resistant, and our damascus steel rings are made from stainless steel that won't rust or tarnish either. Copper and sterling silver are the two exceptions — copper develops a natural patina and silver can tarnish over time, which many people like the look of. Both can be restored to shine with polishing.
How do I care for wood, antler, meteorite, and dinosaur bone inlays?
Every inlay is sealed, but these are natural materials, so treat them kindly. Take your ring off for swimming, hot tubs, dishwashing, and heavy hand-washing. Harsh chemicals, hand sanitizer, and abrasives are hard on organic inlays. Meteorite contains iron and can show surface oxidation if it stays wet for long periods — wipe it dry and it stays beautiful.
Can I wear my ring while working out or doing manual labor?
Titanium, tungsten carbide, and damascus steel are tough, but the inlays are the delicate part. Wood, antler, opal, and similar materials can chip or crack under a hard blow. We recommend removing your ring for weightlifting, rock climbing, and work that hammers on your hands. It's the same advice we'd give for any ring with natural inlays.
Do you offer cleaning or refinishing?
Yes — for the life of your ring. Cleaning, polishing, and refinishing are always free; you only cover the $10 return shipping. Send it in whenever it needs a refresh.
Orders & making
How long does it take to make my ring?
Every ring is handmade to order, one at a time. Standard production is 1–2 weeks before your order ships, and rings often go out ahead of that window. Need it faster for a wedding or proposal date? Our Rush Order upgrade moves your ring to the front of the bench, and Express Shipping speeds up delivery once it's finished.
Can I use my own materials — wood, sand, guitar strings, a sentimental item?
That's one of our favorite things to make. We craft rings with customer-provided materials like wood, sand, crushed stone, and guitar strings. Message us before or right after ordering so we can talk through what you have in mind and whether it will work in a ring.
Can I return my ring?
Because each ring is made specifically for you — your size, width, materials, and engraving — we don't accept standard returns. Your protection is up front: the free sizer before we craft, free stretching up to half a size, the 50% remake option, free lifetime cleaning and refinishing, and a free repair or remake if your ring arrives damaged or defective (contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos).
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, within 24 hours of purchase. After that, materials get cut and production begins.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take to make and ship my ring?
Every ring is handcrafted to order in our studio with a 1 to 2 week production timeline. Once completed, your ring ships securely via free USPS Ground Advantage. Paid upgrades for USPS Priority Mail ($10) and Express ($35) are also available at checkout.
What if I order the wrong ring size?
Our rings are crafted with a comfort-fit interior. If you are unsure of your size, we are happy to send you a complimentary ring sizer before we begin crafting your order. Because each ring is custom-made to order, we cannot accept standard returns; however, if your ring does not fit, we offer a 50% remake fee for a new custom ring upon return of the original, as well as complimentary half-size stretching ($10 shipping). How do I care for my ring and natural inlays?
To preserve the beauty of your ring and natural materials (including wood, meteorite, dinosaur bone, and opal), avoid contact with caustic materials (like acetone) or harsh cleaners that can damage the finish over time. Do not allow the ring to soak in water for extended periods. We include a detailed care card with instructions on keeping your ring beautiful with every order, as well as an anti-tarnish ring polishing cloth.
Can I get my ring custom engraved?
Yes! We offer personalized inside ring engraving (up to 30 characters on eligible bands). You can enter your custom text directly in the engraving box before adding your ring to your cart.
